Hi, my name is Olivia Green, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I have previously worked in college counseling centers and with individuals mandated to seek counseling through the court system. I have experience working with diverse clients with a wide range of presenting concerns.

I am a Pirate at heart. I received my Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling in May of 2022. I am licensed in the state of North Carolina and as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate, and a National Certified Counselor.

My primary approach to counseling is person-centered therapy. I strive to build a genuine, empathetic, and collaborative relationship between the client and counselor and improve emotional regulation while individualizing treatment for each client I work with. I integrate practices from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy within my work.

I am originally from Connecticut but have lived in North Carolina for many years now, both in Greenville, NC and Greensboro, NC. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time caring for my dog and cat, running, reading, baking, and crafting.
