Hi, I am so glad you are here. Beginning therapy can be an uncomfortable, maybe even scary, thing to do, but I am here to walk with you on your journey and empower and celebrate you with each step. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and Nationally Certified Counselor. I love working with individuals to instill confidence to be their most authentic selves and confidently navigate life’s many challenges.

I have experience working in private practice, community mental health, and school-based settings with a wide variety of populations including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, identity concerns, life transitions, and multicultural concerns. My therapeutic approach incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and polyvagal theory. In our work together, clients will find a non-judgmental, genuine, and willing partner who provides affirmation and positive regard every step of the way.

If you are ready to take the next steps toward healing or have thoughts or questions about how to take the next step on your journey to healing, I would love to speak with you and help you along the way.

Therapist’s Qualifications and Clinical Background

I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cumberlands. While completing my Master of Arts Degree, I interned alongside the CEO and Clinical Psychologist of Momentum Psychology and Performance, providing therapeutic services to adults and receiving training in multicultural counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. After I received my clinical licensure, I worked in a community mental health and school-based setting where I received training in EMDR, mindfulness, polyvagal, and trauma-informed approaches.
