About

Caroline Suits, MA, LCMHCA

Contract Therapist

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, and am passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and reach their goals! I am native to southeastern North Carolina, and have loved raising my son alongside my husband in this beautiful place I've called home most of my life.

I am excited to begin working with you! I have spent the last 2 years as a high school counselor, where I focused on helping students with anxiety, depression, crisis intervention, and to maneuver challenges presented in high school. I have previously worked as a Career Development Coordinator where I aided students in achieving their career ambitions. My experiences have provided me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, teens, college-aged students, and adults. I strive to provide an empathetic, warm, trusting and non-judgmental environment where we can work together to create and meet goals and make positive, lasting changes. I utilize evidence-based treatment practices such as solution focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Deciding to meet with a therapist is a huge step in the direction towards overall wellness. I strive to meet clients where they are and adjust my approach to each individual's circumstance. I am happy to answer any questions you may have and to work to make this an easy transition. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and prioritize your mental health!
