Hey y’all! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. As a North Carolina
Native, I am proud to have made Wilmington my home. I am honored to have the privilege and

opportunity to assist, support, and guide you on your journey!

The reality is for many starting therapy can feel like a scary leap into the unknown. During our
sessions, I strive to create a comfortable and safe environment for all my client’s. I have a
passion for working with adolescents, college students, and adults who are struggling with low
self-esteem, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress, and history of trauma whether it be due to

intimate partner violence or sexual trauma.

When I am not in session, you can find me spending time with my Black Lab named Dennis,
reading a good book, going to the beach with friends & family, or cooking a yummy meal.
“The truth is: belonging starts with self-acceptance. Your level of belonging, in fact, can never
be greater than your level of self-acceptance because believing you are enough is what gives you

the courage to be authentic, vulnerable, and imperfect”- Brene Brown

Experience

Therapist’s Qualifications and Clinical Background

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from East Carolina
University in 2019 and a Master of Science in Counselor Education from ECU in 2021. I am a
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and a Licensed School Counselor in NC.

During my time at ECU, I received the ECU Creed Award for Diversity.
Prior to beginning my career in Private Practice, I had the pleasure of serving as a School
Counselor for two years. During my time in the school system, I learned the importance of
ensuring clients have a safe, supportive, and affirming environment by establishing a trusting and

collaborative client-counselor relationship.

My time career in private practice started in the Spring of 2023. I work primarily with
adolescents, college students and adults. In session I integrate a variety of modalities to meet the
needs of my clients with a focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment

Therapy, Mindfulness-Based and Person-Centered.
